Ms. Novak is a dynamic professional, with 25 plus years of leadership, management, supervision, performance, organizational development, and human resource consulting in both the public and private sectors. She is sought after for her extensive experience in designing Federal executive leadership and coaching programs including hiring of qualified coaching staff and matching coaches with mid-level and upper-level managers. Her expertise includes curriculum design, adult training for Federal executive development and coaching with special emphasis on different learning styles. She is a certified organizational facilitator with extensive knowledge and experience working with diverse teams. Bette is a qualified retirement coach helping individuals, couples, and groups visualize and plan for the lifestyle they want to experience when they finally retire.

Ms. Novak is a Senior Coach-Consultant and focuses on Leadership Development and Transition Coaching for Business and Personal Development. She has held long-term positions with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, The U.S. Department of Education, the Fairfax County Government, The Hair Cuttery, and Popeye™ Restaurants as a senior level manager trainer, and education program specialist. Ms. Novak is a member of the core leadership of the High Performing Agencies Community of Practice, a cross Federal agency (currently 17 agencies) group whose mission is committed to improving public sector performance. "We align government leaders in reshaping their organizations to create environments where citizens are served, employees thrive and excellence is a way of life".

Ms. Novak's higher education includes a Masters Degree of Human Resource Management from Marymount University (1989), Arlington, Virginia, a Masters Degree of Education from Georgia State University (1979) Atlanta, Georgia, and a Bachelor of Arts, Agnes Scott College (1972), Decatur, Georgia.
